 Proven results in Title I schools

Lindamood-Bell has successfully partnered with Title I schools around the country. Our partnerships include the following districts, all which include Title I schools:

Our partnerships with Title I schools have been the subjects of numerous studies and articles. One comprehensive study, published in the American Education Research Journal, is a longitudinal analysis of our work with Pueblo City Schools in Colorado. 


 K-12 implementation, Response to Intervention (RtI), help for at-risk students

Lindamood-Bell is a premiere provider of professional development in the concepts and application of an RtI model, including diagnostic assessments, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring. As part of our school partnerships, we provide regular accountability reports to school and district leadership, including measures of program implementation efficacy and student outcomes.


Sensory cognitive instruction is integrated into a Tier 1 application to augment a school's core language arts curriculum. Within the elementary classroom setting, a "push-in" model emphasizes a Tier 2 application of the programs. In a Tier 3 intervention setting (K-12), Lindamood-Bell collaborates with schools to identify appropriate students for small group instruction.


Lindamood-Bell® partnerships work in conjunction with current school curricula. Teachers learn to differentiate instruction with their classroom lessons and once identified for small group instruction, students are grouped homogeneously by learning profile. The design for instruction allows for mobility among groups as students improve and/or need additional help. This structure allows for improved results as it responds to the progress of each student.

 Professional Development and coaching for increased teacher effectiveness

Lindamood-Bell provides extensive, on-going professional development for each of its school partnerships. The goal is to sustain program implementation with quality and fidelity. Professional development includes

  • Introductory workshops in programs that are grounded in SBRR: Seeing Stars®, On Cloud Nine®, Visualizing and Verbalizing®, Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing®, and Talkies®
  • In-services and consulting in Response to Intervention (RtI)
  • In-services and consulting in Progress Monitoring and Differentiated Instruction
  • Direct, on-site coaching and program management on a full-time or regular basis for all instructional staff
  • Advanced professional development and certification for instructional leaders to promote program quality, fidelity, and sustainability
  • Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
  • Lindamood-Bell's Consultant Certification Program for key instructional leaders. Candidates participate in advanced workshops and professional development activities preparing them to sustaining program quality and fidelity

  Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

A Lindamood-Bell® partnership is the next step for schools and districts seeking to go beyond an initial program workshop. We establish Professional Learning Communities in schools to allow school and district staff to improve implementation, pacing, and differentiated instruction with our research-based programs.

 Web-based data managment system

Our partnerships include access to Lindamood-Bell's web-based data management system that administrators use to drive instructional decisions. Administrators and staff will learn how to utilize an automated test-scoring module, which generates individualized and group student reports, progress monitoring data, and attendance information.


 A designated "Closing the Achievement Gap" provider

We are pleased to announce that Lindamood-Bell was recently approved by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) as a Closing the Achievement Gap provider. As a provider, we will partner with schools and districts to provide districts with initial professional development and full partnerships to include:

  • Guidance and support to meet district and school needs
  • Professional development in best practices
  • Tools to eliminate gaps and increase achievement for all students
  • Collaborative leadership systems
  • Research, data, and analysis
