Verbalizing® instruction in all three tiers of the district’s Response to
Intervention (RtI) model

elementary instructional staff and on-going support by district staff
certified by Lindamood-Bell
3) Lindamood-Bell® Consultant Certification program to ensure
sustainability of the initiative
4) A positive
learning environment designed to celebrate student success and
problem-solve challenges
5) Consistent use of achievement data and progress monitoring tools to
guide instruction decisions
For
the 2009-10
school year, the Montezuma-Cortez school district has pursued
comprehensive implementation of Lindamood-Bell® process-based reading
instruction at all elementary schools and Cortez Middle School. The district expects that over 1,200
students will benefit from instruction during the course of the school year.
