SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes will host a free book report writing seminar entitled “Making the Grade: Writing a Great Book Report,” Wednesday, November 8 at 6:00 pm at the San Luis Obispo Learning Center, located at 408 Higuera Street, Suite 100.

This free seminar will provide helpful information from finding the right book and getting started, to writing tips and the final presentation. This beneficial seminar is a great opportunity for children to learn how to organize, outline, and create book reports that will dazzle.

“We are excited to offer this opportunity to help children become more successful students,” Center Director Nikki Jakins said. “This is a helpful seminar that will give students a crash course on how to write a successful book report and will guide parents in how to support their child through the book report writing process.”

The seminar will include an informative presentation along with activities for parents to do with their children in preparation for writing a successful book report.

“Our focus at the center is on the process of learning and the development of the necessary literacy skills. By hosting this free seminar we can share a small piece of that knowledge with our students’ families, along with those who are not students, and help them to better prepare for their success in school,” said Jakins.
