INSTRUCTION FOR CHILDREN

Are Lindamood-Bell Learning Centers for kids? Absolutely. Our sensory-cognitive instruction has proven effective for children at or above the age of four. Whether your kids are just starting to learn the alphabet, struggling to keep up with the rest of their 3rd grade class, trying to improve their geometry skills, or looking for assistance organizing and completing homework assignments, Lindamood-Bell Learning Centers can help.

With our unique style of intensive, differentiated instruction, Lindamood-Bell Learning Centers offer much more than just reading programs for kids. We know that every child is an individual person, working to overcome individual challenges, with an individual style of learning. From the very beginning, Lindamood-Bell instruction focuses on finding the most effective ways to make each student comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.

It is very common, in our learning centers, for kids to achieve years of learning gains while, at the same time, playing games, winning prizes, making friends, and increasing self-confidence.

We offer oral and written language comprehension programs for kids who struggle with communication, following directions, or keeping up with stories and conversations. These comprehension programs are also effective for children exhibiting symptoms of autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, CAPD, and hyperlexia.

We offer phonemic awareness and reading programs for kids who struggle with decoding, spelling, or recognizing words in print. These reading programs are also effective for children exhibiting symptoms of dyslexia, ADHD, and CAPD.

We offer a math program for kids who struggle with basic computation, retaining match facts, applying math concepts, or solving word problems.

We also offer a variety of specialized programs for children who are not yet in Kindergarten, kids who just want academic enrichment or after-school help with homework, and students who will need to receive course credit for Lindamood-Bell instruction.
