Professional Development necessary for Highly Qualified teachers |
|
Lindamood-Bell provides extensive, on-going professional development
for each of its school partnerships. The goal is to sustain program
implementation with quality and fidelity. Professional development
includes:
- Introductory workshops in SBRR instruction: Sensory cognitive
programs, including the Seeing Stars®, On Cloud Nine®, Visualizing and
Verbalizing®, Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing®, and Talkies® programs
- In-services and consulting in Response to Intervention (RtI)
- In-services and consulting in Progress Monitoring and Differentiated Instruction
- Direct, on-site coaching and program management on a full-time or regular basis for all instructional staff
- Advanced professional development and certification for
instructional leaders to promote program quality, fidelity, and
sustainability
- Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
- Lindamood-Bell's Consultant Certification Program is a
comprehensive and customized professional development plan for key
instructional leaders. Candidates participate in advanced workshops and
professional development activities with the goal of sustaining program
quality and fidelity throughout the school. Certification is competency
based, and candidates must renew their certification annually.
